Thank you so much to everyone that participated and helped support our New Life Event. We are having a great time helping other Store Owners. Here are a few comments:

I presently have a store (1SourceNow.com), but it has failed miserably. I have made nothing during the past year and a half and continue to pay $40 a month. Two of my suppliers of vitamins (Nature's Bin and Dr. Greens which I discovered through Worldwide Brands) went out of business and for that section of the website I found a new company, changed my products, but have had no sales. In fact, I have reached the point of deciding whether or not to continue in internet marketing at all. I was prepared to give it a few more months and then financially I would have to stop. Part of the problem is that I started out with two websites-the other not a Yahoo store and my energy was pulled between the two. I have tried to slowly teach myself. Then my father grew progressively ill with cancer and just died two weeks ago. I had been-- and continue to--help my mother, so I couldn't do all that I would have liked on the Yahoo store. I hope that you can help redirect (should I just start over from scratch?) what I have made and help me grow a successful business. That is why you found me here. I was hoping that winning the Grand Prize would lead me to success. Because I also recently retired as a high school English teacher for 30 years (Westlake, Ohio), I am ready to turn things around with some help and hard work.

First, thank you sooo much for bringing so many valuable, professional speakers to my home this past weekend. I received so much information that I don’t know where to begin. MY STORY (briefly): I am a wife and mother. My son, Antonio, was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth. Which means he just learns at a much slower pace than most. He is eight years old, but mentally he is around three. My goal five years ago was to find a way to work from home so that I could have more day hours to work with my son on the many challenges that he faces. So I started my online store with the hope that it will generate enough money to allow me to stay home. I don’t want to be super rich, just want to be able to leave my 8 -5 and spend as much time at his school as I can, when I can. I have a blog, I am on twitter and facebook, I send out emails to my “opt in list”, and have taught myself enough html to do some things. Two things (of the many) I learned during the New Life Event: 1) I may be selling the wrong product to generate sales. Does my target market (primarily African Americans) limit me too greatly? I do know African Americans have a hard time trusting and supporting each other. So my question here is should I change my target market? I don’t have a desire to sell anything else. My dream of having a Christian gift store started when I walked into Mardel Christian gift store at the age of 24. I am now 43. Yeah, I know. The other thing I learned this weekend is: 2) I have an ugly “baby”. My self-taught html codes can only go so far. My “baby”, still lacks that “look”. The look of trust and comfort. So if I continue with these products I really need to make her feel warm and soft and trustworthy. My husband says it’s time to let go of my dream, but I can’t. I don’t want to look back at my son at age 10 and say, “Melvina, you should have been with him more when he was younger”. I already know this. I have been an administrative assistant for more than 20 years and am ready to walk away from my job in a heartbeat. And... walk into my dream. Thanks to you and the New Life Event, I finally feel I have the tools to continue my dream. Again thanks for the free gifts and awesome presenters. My prayer is that I learn to give as much as you do. YOU ROCK!!

I am really enjoying the weekend conference. This is my second one this conference has given me a lot to think about as far as taking my business and streamlining so that I can be more focused on an international level. Thanks to you both and your team.

I would like to begin with a big Thank You. I couldn’t write this last night as my brain was numb from all of the information. I don’t know how you managed to function through the whole event and be able to give the last talk of the day. A little about my family. I have 3 daughters between the age of 25 and 30 years old. We also have a 3 year old grandson who lives with us. We are all gainfully employed which really takes the pressure off when you are trying to start something like this, although your free time becomes very limited. Last October my oldest daughter and I decided to start a business. The economy doesn’t look particularly good, and an alternate source of income makes sense in these trying times. Besides my wife and I are not going to live forever and I can’t think of a better legacy than to leave my daughters with a functioning source of income where the only boss they have to please is their customer. This has been an incredible journey so far, and when you look back at what you have to do it looks a little daunting. But I live by the credo that “Just do it, it can’t be that difficult”. My wife always says that I usually dive right in with my eyes closed but some how learn what I need to be able to get the job done.... Finding the NLE event and winning one of the grand prizes will enable us to move faster by not making as many mistakes along the way and making the right choices more quickly. Below is my website, a work in progress. http://www.SurvivalEquipmentUnlimited.com Thank you again for all of the valuable information provided by Friday and Saturday’s Webinar. Looking forward to working with you and all of the great contacts from the Webinar. This is truly a “Priceless” prize.

Thanks to you both and your team. Should Shawna or you need help with the book club let me know. I have run two before in eBay groups it was so much fun.
